Luna Marchand, Pastor
S.B.N.A. Ministries, Inc.
Pastor Luna Marchand is a servant called by God many years ago to carry a special message to the lost and the abused. Abused in the past herself, she has an earnest heart for abused women and a love for young people. God uses her greatly in these areas to bless others and this is where her ministry started years ago.
In February of 1994, Pastor Luna was led by the Spirit of God to invite some friends, single and abused mothers, whom she used to pray and fellowship with on a weekly basis. Four ladies met that day at a restaurant in Miami, Florida, where they shared difficulties, laughed and prayed together. This is where they came up with plans for monthly meetings and that was the start of SBNA Ministries.
In the following months, more people came and the numbers increased. Since the ministry became too large to meet in restaurants, Pastor Luna was referred to a local hospital in Miami, where the ministry was allowed to meet every last Friday of the month in their conference room. The needs for more meetings increased. Pastor Luna then opened up the door of her house and made it a sanctuary where every Wednesday night people would come to praise God and get delivered.
As Pastor Luna was about to do a major work in her home to fit the ministry because the living and the dining rooms had become too small, the Lord blessed SBNA Ministries with a place of worship, 9526 NW 7th Avenue. Now, SBNA Ministries, Inc., is a non-profit organization with a full time ministry serving the community in the following areas:
Church Ministry: Refuge for Souls Church, Miami, Florida
Youth Ministry: S.B.N.A Youth Ministry
Orphanages Ministry: Cilia Foundation in Forge, Haiti
Good Shepherd, Petion Ville, Route des Freres Prolongee, Haiti
Homeless ministry: H.O.M.E (Homeless Outreach Ministry Evangelistic)
